Dreamlike Disneyland
Disneyland accompanied many of us in our childhood, for she was not only the miniature of the world, but also the start of a sweet dream. On the one hand, Disney satisfied many girls’ princess dreams with her sweet stories. On the other hand, she told children profound principles with a great many amazing adventures. Today I arrived at this dreamlike world to search the original story.
Initially, although the sunshine in California was dazzling, it did not wear down our enthusiasm to play. After the half-an-hour drive, the Disney outline slowly rose before our eyes. Before getting to the entrance, we’ve already seen the western-style houses permeated with fairy tale styles, whose walls were in chocolate color. Also, American flags waved above her fulvous roof as if they were welcoming us to come to Disneyland and wished us a wonderful day here.
On entering Disneyland, we could see souvenir shops along the way. Disney elements permeated a wide variety of commodities. Other than that, tourists with Mickey ears were everywhere. The candy-color wall space extended into the distance, the end of which was Disney ’s landmark--the Sleeping Beauty Castle. The bluish top covered the tephrosious castle, emitting twinkling light in the sun. People passed through the wood porch under the castle in an endless stream with familiar background music to explore the fantasy of the Disney World.
Moreover, there was a magnificent foreign-style house on the New Orleans Square. After entering it, I realized that it was a haunted house, but not scary at all. The miraculous projecting techniques produced magical spirit inside. Some plaster seemed to watch you march forward as if it were processed. There was a building set off by trees beside the haunted house. Over here we were able to follow the steps of the Caribbean Pirates to drift in the riverway. There were various kinds of brick houses on both sides of the watercourse. It seemed that a lot of people who dressed themselves like pirates were standing there. However, when we got closer, we found out that they were actually dummies who would wave their machete at hand and burst into gales of laughter when we went through. The last to appear was Captain Jack Sparrow who always wore red robes with piles of jewels beside him and gently shook his wine glass to look forward to the next meet.
More interestingly, at the heart of Disneyland existed a fairy tale world. The majestic castle and exquisite Merry Go Round enabled us to fall into children’s dreams. There was a blue and white castle on the margins decorated with golden stripes. In addition, a clear waterway calmly flowed around the castle, whose waves were coated in a layer of golden edge by the sunshine, pushing our boat into a tiny world. The inside of the castle was filled with children in various outfits representing all different nations, who stood before all kinds of buildings and sang ‘It’s a Small World’ in the meantime. Among the babies, I could see dolls in Chinese costumes, Hawaii babies performing Hula dance as well as Irish children holding the four-leaf clovers in hand. The castle represented each country’s characteristic. Right in the middle was the noted Sleeping Beauty Castle. Entering a small timber door, moving upwards along the narrow stairs, we could see many fairy tale books with relevant plots in them. So as to let us better enter the plot, managers of Disneyland installed dynamic printed pictures in special windows, such as floating shuttles, charizards, princess sleeping in rose bushes in addition to prince armed with swords and slashing the thorns.
To conclude, the most unforgettable was the last-to-see float parade. The symphony orchestra with bright melodies raised the curtain of the tour. The first on stage was the most classical Mickey Mouse, followed by Aladdin, the mermaid and the Lion King. Each and every one of them appeared before our eyes in luxuriant float, making tourists’ dream come true and playing the following splendid stop cipher for today’s trip.
